Desserts are one of life’s great pleasures, but they can often be high in fat and sugar. While you needn’t worry about this on special occasions (when something like my chocolate crème brulee are the perfect dessert), if you feel like something a little sweet after dinner more often, then I find the best solution is not to deny yourself but rather have something sweet that is also healthy. My home-made sorbets and ice-creams are perfect for this; the whole family will love them and they won’t think twice that the treat they’re having is actually good for them!
