Snack cups

These snack cups are fun and easy to make for kids.

The cheesy pineapple dip is a hit with kids and goes well with everything in these snack cups.

This recipe comes from the October/November issue of NADIA magazine.

Ingredients

  • Large pretzels
  • Carrot sticks
  • Cucumber sticks
  • Celery sticks
  • Cheese sticks
  • Salami pieces or halved frankfurters
  • Fruit chunks
  • Nuts

Cheesy pineapple dip

  • crushed pineapple 1 small tin, drained
  • cream cheese 125 grams, softened
  • sour cream 2 tablespoons
  • hummus 2 tablespoons

Method

  1. Arrange tasty treats in paper cups and serve with cheesy pineapple dip (see below).

Cheesy pineapple dip

  1. Whizz together crushed pineapple, drained, softened cream cheese, sour cream and hummus* (I used pumpkin & kumara) until smooth.

*Check label if eating gluten free
