Creamy Minty Mango Kiwi Smoothie

Mango gives this smoothie a beautiful sweet tropical flavour, which is balanced by the freshness of the mint.

Kiwi add a slight sourness to this smoothie that compliments the mango, as well as a good dose of viatmin C. The avocado lends a thick and creamy taste and texture, and is a great way of getting some healthy mono-unsaturated (‘good’) fats into your diet. Ingredients

  • ripe mango flesh of 1
  • green kiwifruit flesh of 2
  • avocado flesh of 1
  • water 1 cup
  • ice cubes 5-6
  • mint leaves ½ cup
  • liquid honey or apple syrup (vegan) 1-2 tablespoons

Method

  • Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add a little more water if needed to achieve your desired consistency. Pour into glasses and serve.
