If you’ve got heaps of feijoas on your hands, make the most of them with this yummy feijoa smoothie – the perfect healthy breakfast on the run!
- 1 banana
- 4 feijoas peeled and chopped
- 6 spinach leaves
- 4 ice cubes
- 1 cup vanilla yoghurt
- ½ cup milk
- Place banana, feijoas, spinach leaves and ice cubes into a blender and whizz until smooshy.
- Add vanilla yoghurt and milk and whizz until creamy. Pour into glasses or bottles.
- Top with a sprinkle of muesli or granola for a breakfast treat.
To make this feijoa smoothie extra creamy, cut up the banana and freeze the night before. If you like this smoothie, you’ll like this feijoa, kale and apple smoothie. With this recipe, you can use dairy-free coconut yoghurt and non-dairy milk such as coconut, almond or soy milk if you’d prefer.
