Creamy Minty Mango Kiwi Smoothie
Mango gives this smoothie a beautiful sweet tropical flavour, which is balanced by the freshness of the mint.
- 1 ripe mango flesh
- 2 green kiwifruit flesh
- 1 avocado flesh
- 1 cup water
- 5-6 ice cubes
- ½ cup mint leaves
- 1-2 tablespoons liquid honey or apple syrup (vegan)
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Add a little more water if needed to achieve your desired consistency. Pour into glasses and serve.
Kiwi add a slight sourness to this smoothie that compliments the mango, as well as a good dose of vitamin C. The avocado lends a thick and creamy taste and texture, and is a great way of getting some healthy mono-unsaturated (‘good’) fats into your diet.
